There is something about a cottage garden that gives us a place of respite and calm. Billowy antique roses, hollyhocks stand at attention, and the sweet smell of damp earth under our toes.

 

A love of nature and the garden compells me to seek out vintage garden decor. You may find old time worn planters, iron flower pot holders, birdhouses, vases, architectural pieces from the past, something for the porch and patio. 

 

Autumn is here and it's time to put the garden to sleep. I like to bring a few old planters, etc. indoors

as a reminder of what will be next year!
