Welcome to Harriet's Daughter! We offer items that evoke the casual charm of all things vintage. Our favorite thing to do is find that special item for your home, traveling far and wide. Weekends are spent at antique fairs and fleas, an occassional farm auction or a local antique shop. I rarely sell new or reproductions. We, at Harriet's Daughter,  feel there is a special warmth to vintage items that have held their grace and charm for so many years, and  have developed time worn details, that new items just can't provide.

 

My job is to find the best in cottage, beach chic, kitsch, depression era and french country decor and then offer those items to you.  On any given visit you may find fluffy vintage chenille bedspreads, vintage printed tablecloths, antique china such as Homer Laughlin, chandeliers (yummy tole painted beauties or a crystal one to add a touch of breathtaking romance) , garden and architectural finds, vintage quilts, crochet and embroidered pillowcases, lamps, prints (roses are a favorite) or whatever strikes my fancy!

 

Spring is almost here, and as Mother Nature renews her home so should we! What better time to renew your space in anticipation of evenings spent outdoors on the patio or porch, sleeping with the windows open and dressing up your table with casual vintage flair.   Time to bring out a whimsical vintage tablecloth, or revive your bed with a new pair of vintage cotton pillowcases.
